Model Steam Marine Engine.

Tom Atkins joined the Trust recently. He brought with him a marine steam engine model that was constructed by his father as an apprentice piece sometime around 1920.

It has not worked for many years and Tom hopes to restore it for display at the Pumping Station.

After a preliminary check over we are very hopeful that it will run as soon as we free it off and check it over.  If this is the case then it should be just a case of a cosmetic restoration.

Check back to see how we progress.

The work progress.
