Great strides have been made in the basement opening project.....

We have all but finished the path to the basement opening. As of the 12th Jan we now have a new secure entrance door fitted where there was once a brick wall. This is the first time in at least 45 years that access has been available to the basement other than by a series of ladders!!! See projects page for pictures

We urgently need support to finish this project. Donations of any size would be appreciated.

This project is expected to cost in the region of £4500 most of which is materials such as:-

  • Cleaning materials.
  • Electrical installation - lighting and power.
  • Paint.

We will provide the labour but we desperately need your support - please to contact us if you think you may be able to assist in any way.

We depend for our existence on your entrance money, donations and sponsorship. These companies have very kindly supported us in various ways. A big thanks go to them for assisting us to keep Coleham Pumping Station museum open for all to enjoy.
